Phase along

A commission for Art Ii Biennial 2024

Phase along is a work for outdoor spaces by ALINA SAKKO / ELISA SAKKO, commissioned for Art Ii Biennial 2024.

Combining contemporary dance and installation, Phase along is an attempt to look closely and to understand phases of fire through materiality of a human. Via movement of contained ash alongside a dancing body, their collaboration researches the uncontrollable nature of fire and human's attempt to control it.
